Timmo (1974) is a Danish national that brings +25 years of unparalleled experience in C-level leadership within the pharmaceutical industry worldwide.
He has an MBA from Copenhagen Business School and several Executive Leadership courses including from Oxford and IESE.
Across MSD/Merck&Co (2000-2010) and Boehringer-Ingelheim (2010-2025) Timmo has gained deep knowledge across all disciplines in pharma: R&D, production, global brand management and in particular global, regional and local commercialization.
From 2020-23 Timmo was Boehringer's Head of Regions (Chief Commercial Officer) overseing 15.000 colleagues around the world across medicine and commercial. During his tenure Boehringer saw unprecedented double-digit growth and led a radical transformation of commercial capabilities.
From 2023 to the end of 2024 Timmo was President and CEO of Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceutials USA. Here he led to transformation of the organization from being an well executing organization dependent on 2 blockbuster to an empowered cross-functional speed-oriented organization ready to launch up to 20 new assets in 2025-30.
He has served as a board member in a variety of organizations, such as Farmaindustria (Spain), German Chamber of Commerce (Spain) and acted as strategic advisor for large commercial operations partners such as veeva (Global) and Indegene (Global and US).
Privately Timmo is a proud father of 4, a passionate cross-country skier and sailer. Before his career he played on the Danish national team in volleyball, captained and coached several teams in the best Danish league.
